Postgraduate Diploma in General Practice Pharmacy i.e. completion of both Foundation Stage 1 and 2 or equivalent. Training and accreditation as a Practice Supervisor an/or Educational Supervisor Registered with GPhC as an Independent Prescriber

The post holder will have experience in hospital pharmacy (post registration) showing clinical experience within various environments Understanding of patient safety issues relevant to pharmacy services. Deliver specialist training to groups of staff including pharmacy, medical and nursing staff Demonstrate experience in a full range of clinical specialities

Undertaken audits and shown implementation of results Service improvement and change management skills

Demonstrable evidence of clinical pharmacy experience and further study. As a minimum the post holder must demonstrate knowledge of core pharmaceutical needs of patients in various clinical settings Can demonstrate ‘usually’ or ‘consistently’ levels of competence for the majority of General/Foundation Level Framework Can use initiative appropriately Leadership/innovation and motivational skills Teaching and presentation skills.
